Who we are in Christ Jesus

We believe in the Word of God. 1 John 1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

In the beginning God created the heaven and earth. Genesis 1:1

We believe there is one Eternally Omnipresent, Omnipotent God, existing in three persons: Almighty God the Father; His Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins and rose again: and the Holy Spirit that lives and dwells within each and every born again believer.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling: One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:4-6

We believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is necessary for salvation.

Jesus Christ saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. If ye had known Me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him. John 14:6-7

We believe... That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

We believe ...Whosoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgement; because as He is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:15-17

We believe God loves us with an everlasting love. He accepts us. He calls us beloved and nothing can separate us from the love of God:

To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved. Ephesians 1:6

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, or powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosovever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.   And that God did not come to condemn us but to give us life and life everlasting.

John 3:16-17

We believe that we are new creations in Christ Jesus! Born again in the Spirit of God, and made

The Righteousness of God in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 (King James Version)

17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

------------------------------

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature!

Now we live by faith of the Son of God:

Galations 2:20

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Our sins are all forgiven:

For by one offering He has perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

                                                                                                        Hebrews 10:14

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

                                                                                                    1 Corinthians 6:11

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood. Revelation 1:5

God sent His son, Jesus Christ to save us:

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17

We are saved by His gift of Righteousness and we have been healed:

Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Peter 2:24

The power of Satan is broken. King Jesus Christ is King above all kings, Lord above all lords and has all authority. Amen.

"To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness, and from the power of Satan unto God,

that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. " Acts 26:18

We are "not guilty" and "not condemned" --Jesus Christ has saved us, justified us, redeemed us. The judgement was placed on Jesus Christ. He took the punishment for our sins and gave us His life.

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. Colossians 2:14

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1

We are saved by grace and quickened together with Christ.

Ephesians 2:4-8

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Christ is our life.

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

                                                                                                                  John 10:10

We are blessed, blessed, blessed!!!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:4

He chose us in Him before the world was formed. In Him, through His blood, we are made holy and blameless. In HIs love and grace we are saved.

According as he hath chosen us in Him before the foundaton of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. Ephesians 1:4

He presdestinated us into His holy family. ...and it was according to His good pleasure and will to do it. Having presdestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. Ephesians 1:5

We are complete in Christ Jesus.

And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power; In whom also ye are circumcised with the cirumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised Him from the dead. Colossians 2:10-12

For with God nothing shall be impossible that is in His will. Luke 1:37

We don't have to worry nor be anxious. He hears our prayers; He gives us HIS peace.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

We are "in Christ" ...abiding in Him, we are so near to Him. He is our Wonderful Prince of Peace! We are no longer separated from Him!

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us. Ephesians 2:13-4

He is our help in times of trouble; He strengthens us. He is our righteousness!

Fear thou not: I am with thee be not dismayed: for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

In Christ Jesus our future is secure. Nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Romans 4:38-30; Ephesians 1:11; Ephesians 1:5

All things work for our good:

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

We are sealed with the holy Spirit of promise:

That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:12-14

Through Jesus Christ, you are a child of God and belong to His family.

But as many recieve Him, to them gave He power to become the Sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.

John 1:12

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be stregthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21

We then, as workers together with Him, beseech you also that ye recieve not the grace of God in vain. (For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. ) 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

Hallelujah! Wonderful Jesus!
